WHO WE ARE
In 1990, Aeromaritime International Management Services (Pty) Ltd (trading as AIMS Global Logistics) was established by the Allied Electronics Corporation (Altron) and Ren freight Forwarding to provide import and export cargo management services, as well as customs clearing and international freight forwarding facilities, largely for Altron group companies.

B-BBEE Joint Venture with DHL Forwarding South Africa
DHL Global Forwarding provides the most advanced logistics experience in the industry and access to the largest global network of forwarding, clearing and logistics services moving freight by Air, Ocean, Road and Rail at globally competitive rates.
AGL and DHL, having identified synergies within their businesses that present an opportunity for mutual benefit to customers through collaboration in the South African market, concluded a 51:49 Joint Venture Agreement to provide a door-to-door service solution under the Unincorporated Joint Venture named “DGL”.
DGL provides a compelling business case to South African Companies seeking to do business with BBBEE compliant forwarding and clearing company with a global reach at cost competitive rates.
DHL contracts to provide its Global Network and communications systems for International Freight Forwarding Services and AGL will provide the South African local customs clearing and domestic services.
Under the Unincorporated Joint Venture both companies BBBEE scorecards are audited by a SANAS accredited verification agency and have been issued with a consolidated BBBEE rating. This consolidated BBBEE rating is to be used by the customer when contracting with “DGL”. BBEE Level 2
